The Area

Torre Pali

Torre Pali takes its name from a 16th-century watchtower built during Spanish rule to defend the coast from Saracen pirate raids. Today, the tower rises directly from the sea, just a few metres from the shoreline, in a setting that is hard to forget.

Torre Vado and Pescoluse

Torre Vado is a well-equipped seaside town, with everything you need to enjoy a carefree day by the sea. Along the seafront, you will find bars, ice cream parlours, pizzerias, trattorias, and small shops selling local products. The equipped beach clubs offer umbrellas, sunbeds, showers, and dining services; those who prefer the free beach simply have to choose the stretch that suits them best.

Gallipoli

Gallipoli is one of the most fascinating destinations in Salento: crystal-clear waters, fine sandy beaches, and a historic centre rich in monuments, traditions, and typical local venues. Its name says it all: it comes from the Greek Kallipolis, meaning beautiful city.

Lido Marini & Torre S. Giovanni

Torre San Giovanni is a seaside district of Ugento, famous for its very fine white sandy beaches, turquoise sea with shallow, clear seabeds, and a coastline of about 1.5 km alternating between equipped beach clubs and free stretches of coast. It is the busiest and liveliest seaside town along this part of the coast, with an evening atmosphere that clearly sets it apart from the nearby resorts.

Santa Maria di Leuca

Leuca is not just a beach, but a place with a distinct identity, where the landscape changes completely compared to the sandy seaside towns of the Ionian coast and where every corner has something to tell. It is famous for being the southernmost point of Puglia and Salento, the de Finibus Terrae, where, according to tradition, the Adriatic and Ionian seas meet.
